Practice Change:This course enables the learner to correlate physical, cognitive and psychological milestones to chronological age and development stage, assess the developmental stage of children, and adapt nursing care to meet the needs of children based on their developmental age. This module educates experienced adult nurses who transition into pediatric nursing roles but lack experience and/or knowledge of child development.
