We invite you to participate in a discussion of the Journal of Pediatric Nursing article "A comparison of watching cartoons versus playing games as a distraction method on pain and fear of pain during peripheral intravenous cannula placement in children aged 6–9 years: A randomized experimental study". Join us for an engaging journal club session to explore a study that compares two methods for relieving pain and fear in children undergoing peripheral IV insertion. This study examines the effectiveness of each method in reducing pain and anxiety during this routine, yet often upsetting, procedure for children.
