Substance Use and HIV Risk Among Youth Experiencing Homelessness

Description:  Approximately 1.1 million children in prekindergarten through 12th grade experienced unstable housing during the 2020-2021 school year, according to the National Center for Homeless Education. Children living in unstable housing are more likely to suffer from poor physical, mental, and sexual health outcomes, as well as commit suicide. Learn how unstable housing interrelates with substance use and HIV risk along with several promising interventions for addressing substance use and HIV risk during this webinar.
