SPN Fall Virtual Conference Session 7: Enhancing Medication Safety in Pediatric ICUs: The Impact of Pre-Printed, Color-Coded Labels

• This project tested pre-printed, color-coded labels in pediatric ICUs to improve medication safety. Learn how color-coded labels verses handwritten labels enhanced nurse confidence and perceptions of patient safety. This session will highlight the positive outcomes from pre- and post-intervention surveys and discuss recommendations for broader application and further research.

Outcome: 85% of the participants will self-report having gained new knowledge and/or strategies to implement into practice based on the information provided.
