- Very few pediatric trauma centers have forensic programs dedicated to caring for victims of violent crimes, outside of physical abuse and sexual assault. The learner will report increased knowledge of protocol implementation regarding the collection and preservation of ballistic evidence based upon this presentation.
Outcome: 85% of the participants will self-report having gained new knowledge and/or strategies to implement into practice based on the information provided.
Continuing Education: Society of Pediatric Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16532.
