• Discover how a simulation-based competency program using standardized patients enhanced safety and staff preparedness in pediatric non-psychiatric units by improving skills in room searches and communication. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies and resources to replicate this competency program on the ADDIE instructional design framework to improve safety and care quality for pediatric patients.

Outcome: 85% of the participants will self-report having gained new knowledge and/or strategies to implement into practice based on the information provided.
