Objectives

• Describe diagnostic assessments for children suspected of ADHD or SCD.
• Describe different therapies used to treat children with ADHD and SCD.
• Describe long-term concerns and management for children with ADHD and SCD.

Outcome: 85% of the participants will have a foundational knowledge of pediatric nursing care, as evidenced by passing the post-test for each module.

Continuing education: Society of Pediatric Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation 

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 16532.
