CPN Power Prep: Preparation Review Program - June Cohort
Live Session Dates: 2026- June 3, 10, 17, 24 (Wednesdays) 10:00 am CT - 11:00 am CT
This is a concise, 4-week virtual interactive review that highlights key topics for the pediatric certification exam. Building on the nurses' existing knowledge, each week features different content and formats, including case studies, educational games, and more. Sessions are structured as follows:
The program consists of a pre-session confidence level survey, weekly required readings, weekly knowledge checks, 4 weekly 1-hour live, virtual interactive review sessions, 1 certificate of completion per completed week, a post-session confidence level survey and an overall program survey.
WEEK 1: Growth and Development, Respiratory/ENT Conditions, & Renal, Genitourinary, Reproductive Conditions
WEEK 2: Behavioral/Mental Health Conditions Hematologic Conditions & Oncologic Conditions
WEEK 3: Neurologic Conditions, Infectious Diseases & Endocrine/Metabolic Conditions
WEEK 4: Gastrointestinal Conditions, Cardiovascular Conditions & Dermatologic Conditions
Outcome:
Short-term measurement: Upon course completion, 80% of participants will report increased confidence and increased knowledge of the content needed to pass the certification exam.
Long-term measurement: Follow-up survey will indicate that 80% of participants who took the CPN exam will report successful certification.
Continuing Education: Society of Pediatric Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation
Contact Hour: 16.0 NCPD Contact Hours
Successful completion:
1. Complete the required pre-work, including knowledge checks
2. Attend each live session in its entirety (session recordings will not be provided)
3. Complete the online evaluation
